ICT Division’s APA for FY 2021-22 signed

The Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 has been signed between the Information and Communication Technology Division and 6 departments and agencies under the department for the implementation of Vision-2021 by ensuring transparency in government work, enhancing accountability, consolidating good governance, institutional capacity building and ensuring proper utilization of resources.

On Tuesday, at the meeting room of the ICT Division of the ICT Tower in Capital’s Agargaon, the heads of the offices signed the agreement. The offices are, Bangladesh Computer Council, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Department of Information and Communication Technology, Controller of Certifying Authorities, Digital Security Agency and Bangladesh Data Centre Company Limited (BDCCL).

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present on the occasion as the chief guest.

Presided over by NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Information and Communication Technology Division, the event was attended by Bikarn Kumar Ghosh, Managing Director, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Parthapratim Dev, Executive Director, BCC, ABM Arshad Hossain, Director General, ICT Division Abu Saeed Chowdhury, CCA Controller Md Khairul Amin, Director General, Digital Security Agency, Abu Saeed Chowdhury, Managing Director, Bangladesh Data Center Company Limited (BDCCL) and other senior officials.

In his keynote address, the State Minister for ICT said that we have to work with sincerity in implementing the basic goal of Vision-2021 announced by the Prime Minister in time. Addressing the officials, he said that in order to make the dream of People's Leader Sheikh Hasina Digital Bangladesh a reality, it was necessary to fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to it in accordance with the annual performance agreement. He also emphasized on expanding the scope of work while maintaining continuity with past work.

Note that the actual achievements of the concerned ministries and departments are assessed against the targets set in the agreement at the end of the financial year as per the APA agreement. Numbers are given according to the achievement of the target.
