The newly constructed 4-storey ICT building of Digraj College in Bagerhat's Mongla was inaugurated at 11 am on Thursday.
Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony and discussion meeting.
Mongla Upazila Parishad Chairman Abu Taher Hawlader, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamlesh Majumder, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nayan Kumar Rajbangshi and others were present at the time. Tushar Kumar Gain, Principal of Digraj Degree College, presided over the function.
The chief guest in his speech said, everyone should wear a mask when they go out and keep a safe distance. He said that only awareness can save us from this corona epidemic. He urged everyone to follow the government instructions. Prayers were held at the end of the discussion.
