PowerPac Holdings Limited, Bangladesh has officially launched the Iconic Purbachal Central Business District (CBD) project at the Bangladesh Economic Forum 2022 in the UAE on Thursday.
The launching was held at the Ballroom of MovenPick Grand Al Bustan Dubai hotel in presence of Salman F Rahman, MP, Advisor to Prime Minister for Private Industries and Investment, Dr AK Abdul Momen, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs from Bangladesh, and Thomasz Zaleski, Chairman the Private Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi.
The official launching will have a significant impact on the project’s ongoing development activities, says Sikder Group.
Sikder Group has conceptualised the development of a high-end integrated real estate project in the new town of Purbachal having all modern amenities and cutting-edge technologies. The mega project is directly aligned with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s dream of establishing Bangladesh as a ‘globally integrated regional economic and commercial hub’.
The CBD project is spread over 114 acres of land in Purbachal New Town. Key attractions of the project are iconic tri-towers like Language Tower (52 floors), Liberation Tower (71 floors), and Legacy Tower (111 floors). These tri-towers would host high-end real estate space catering to the need of global corporations and the upmarket demand of local and non-resident Bangladeshis.
RAJUK awarded the CBD contract to the consortium of PowerPac Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Sikder Group, and Kajima Corporation (Japanese conglomerate). Purbachal CBD is poised to shape up as a Global Business Hub with all world-class facilities including a sophisticated business centre, commercial spaces, retails and brand shops, luxurious apartments, convention centre, hospital, international school and all other necessary community facilities to modernise Dhaka’s skyline on the allocated land at Purbachal.
