To promote the CMA profession and to offer easy access to CMA program for the aspiring professional accountants, The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Govt Azizul Haque College (GAHC), Bogra on Saturday at Bogra Press club. Under the said alliance, GAHC intends to facilitate and cooperate with the purposes permitting ICMAB Bogra Study Center to operate on its premises. It is highly expected that the partnership will result in mutual benefits for the institutions in developing the human capital of Bangladesh.
Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA, President of ICMAB and Prof. Md. Shajahan Ali, Principal, Govt Azizul Haque College signed the MoU for their respective institutions.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Md Munirul Islam FCMA, Vice President, ICMAB, A.K.M Kamruzzaman FCMA, Secretary of ICMAB, Prof. Md. Mahtab Hossain Mondal, General Secretary of Staff Council and Head of Mathematics Department, GAHC, and Prof. Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Head, Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies, GAHC. The ICMAB President highlighted various aspects of the CMA profession in his speech. He said that there is a special need for CMA degree holders in the administration and other departments including the accounting department of various multinational organizations, business and commercial organizations, production department of industrial establishments, etc.
