The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) holds Meet the Members program for discussion on professional matters on September 07 at its Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka.
A meeting has been scheduled to discuss Professional Matters. Its purpose is to inform members about the new Council of ICMA and its plans to advance the profession and achieve its goals. The program covered updates on activities and strategies for taking the profession to new heights.
The President of ICMAB in his speech said that the office bearers and all the members of the Council are working with the fullest dedication, commitment and passion and also remained focused on its goal to further strengthen the CMA profession.
ICMAB has placed 30 letters to the government, different regulatory bodies, and other organizations on various issues and in concern to the professional interest, he stated. He added, it is important to keep the members updated on the ongoing developments and obtain opinions and views to effectively sustain and drive the professional development initiatives.
Two Vice Presidents – Prof. Dr. Salim Uddin FCMA & Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, Secretary Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, and Treasurer Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA spoke on various issues and answered to the different queries from members and audience. Vice President Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA offered vote of thanks on the occasion.
