The 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) was held on Friday at ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMA Bhaban, Nilkhet, Dhaka.
Muhammad Abdullah, Executive Director, ICMAB, offered the welcome address. Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, President of the Institute, presided over the meeting.
Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, Secretary, presented the Council of the Institute report for the year 2022-2023.
Md. Akhtaruzzaman FCMA, Treasurer, presented the Audited Accounts and Financial Reports of the Institute for 2022-2023. Later on, members of the Institute shared their views and opinions regarding the annual report and various issues related to the CMA profession.
ICMAB President Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA thanked everyone for being supportive and cooperative for the cause of the Institute and CMA profession.
He and other office bearers later answered the members' queries. Past Presidents, Council Members and around one thousand Fellow and Associate Members of the Institute attended the 52nd Annual General Meeting.
Besides the AGM, the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) election was held for the 2024 term. One thousand one hundred thirty-five members were cast their votes to elect 10 Council members of DBC for this term.
