Pori Moni is a popular actress. Several new movies starring her are stuck due to coronavirus. So this actress is living a life of forced home quarantine. A Mizan

writes after talking to her about the present time and other issues.

How are you spending your time?

My time is passing with me staring at the clock. Other than that I am reading books and doing household chores and taking care of my family.

You were stuck on a launch for a long time during the lockdown. Tell us a bit about that.

Before the lockdown started, I started shooting for the movie ‘Adventure of Sundarbans’. It’s shooting was taking place on the launch. Then the lockdown began.

We got stuck along with the whole team aboard the launch of the movie. A few days later we all stopped shooting and went home. The film is directed by Abu Raihan Jewel. The work is going great.

What is your message to everyone?

In the interest of one’s own good, one must keep in mind the good of others. So follow the directed instructions and stay home to stay safe.

Do you have regular contact with the people in the media close to you at this time?

I’m not communicating with anyone on purpose. Frustration increases if I do that so I am not communicating with anyone.

Don’t you miss working?

Work is like my one and only lover and as such I am missing my work very much.

Do you feel frustrated in this situation?

I feel very sad that I don’t have wings. No matter how much everyone says to stay home, does the heart want to stay locked up?

In fact, it is very difficult to accept such a life. Sometimes I feel like running down the street...

What do you want to do first at the end of the coronavirus period?

I want to run around at the end of the coronavirus period, until I am out of breath and can’t run any more.

You have started a new family. Tell us a bit about your family life.

It’s a very personal matter. So I don’t want to talk about private life in public.

Many of your movies got stuck because of Coronavirus. Do you feel bad about it or are you celebrating leisure?

I got used to getting stuck in movies from my first movie ‘Rana Plaza’. So for me it doesn’t seem painful. I just feel bad because I can’t show so many good works to the audience right now.
