The trailer of Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming thriller, ‘Bornoporichoy’, is finally out. And thanks to it, Bengali audiences are already looking forward to the film, which is bringing together Bengal’s two most desirable men, Jisshu U Sengupta and Abir Chatterjee, in a lead roles, along with nationally acclaimed actors. Also part of the cast is Priyanka Sarkar, who told us that’s she’s really excited about working with Jisshu. “It has been a great experience working in the film, where I play Jisshu’s wife, said the actor. She plays Malini, a modern-day housewife who is married to Dhananjoy, a police officer, played by Jisshu. She told that Malini gets upset at times, as her husband is always busy with his work. “But I can’t reveal anything more about the story now,” she said when quizzed her about the story.
The trailer starts with the introduction of two men – Arko (Abir Chatterjee), a man who has nothing to lose, and Dhananjoy (Jisshu), a man who has lost everything, locked in a gripping cat-and-mouse chase. While Arko goes on a killing spree, which always ends in riddles, Dhananjoy loses his family and job as he becomes obsessed with his quest for the truth. The trailer ends showing that after a hiatus, Arko has returned to the crime scene and is giving Dhananjoy an open challenge to catch him. What happens next? A suspense thriller with edge-of-the-seat viscerally exciting moments, Bornoporichoy is an adventure of good versus evil. It is a roller-coaster ride that studies the grammar of death.
Talking about the response of the trailer, a spokesman from the production house said, “Bornoporichoy is among one of the most nail-biting thrillers seen by the Bengali audience so far and the trailer reactions are already proving the same.”
The music of the film has been composed by Anupam Roy and the background score is by Indraadip Das Gupta.
