Actress Humaira Himu was last seen on stage drama more than a decade ago. The actress was last seen in a role of ‘Khachar Bhitor Achin Pakhi’ under the direction of Jamal Uddin Hossain. She came on stage through ‘Nagorik Natyangan Ensemble’. After that she was no longer seen performing on stage.
She expressed optimism that she would return to the stage again. About this, Humaira Himu said, “I couldn’t give enough time for stage because of being too busy with dramas. I am able to find time for myself now. So I'll be back on stage. I cannot express the type of happiness that works while working for a play. So I think I will soon join a team and return to the stage.”
Himu said she would try to associate herself with Dhaka Theater or Prachyanat.
Humaira Himu also played a role in 'DB' series by Jahangir Alam Sumon. She also produced a play titled ‘Bhalobashi Athoba Bashi Bhalo’ five years ago.
Meanwhile, tomorrow, November 23, is the birthday of Humira Himu. When asked how she will spend this year’s birthday? Himu said, “Kaiser has taken a schedule for ‘Bakulpur’. If shooting take place, then I will spend my birthday on the shooting spot.”
