Tasnia Farin, the busiest actor of the small screen, has made a mark in the hearts of viewers by appearing in advertisements and dramas. A Mizan talked to her about her plan for the new year and many other issues.
What are your plans for the new year? Have you been busy with work?
The year began with me working on drama. Valentine’s Day is coming up. That’s why I am very busy. I will be busy with shooting the drama till next month. I've worked hard in the last year but I want to work a little less this year. I want to give time to my family as well.
Do you want to be selective in choosing work this new year?
Yes. Last year, there was no target for work. The target was to make myself known to the people. I do not know how much recognition I have received from the audience. But what I think is that - now everyone in the industry knows about me. Now the target is to establish myself as an actor.
Will you be seen in films this year?
Everyone who works in showbiz has the desire and dream of seeing themselves on the big screen. I'm no exception. Many proposals have already come. But I am not ready for cinema yet. The story proposals I received did not stand out to me.
What kind of films do you want to work on?
I have no plans. But of course I want a good story. The story of a movie is the main focus. After reading a screenplay, I feel like I can adapt myself to any character. I am waiting for a beautiful character. But I have not yet received such a character.
You are surely dating. When will you get married?
[laughs] No I am not in any relationship. Whatever is destined will happen. I am not thinking about marriage right now. I want to become established as an actor. I want to focus on my acting career right now.
