Popular model actress Safa Kabir has been in home quarantine throughout the lockdown for coronavirus and is still residing indoors. The outbreak has forced the actress to retire from the world of light camera action. A Mizan wrote after talking to her about the current situation and other issues.
When will you return to work?
I'm actually not going to work right now. After the lockdown was over, I was thinking that I was going to observe for 10 to 12 days, and see whether the situation gets better. And now the lockdown is once more in effect.
The situation is not in our hands. Now we have nothing to do but wait. If the citizens of our country are a little more aware, then of course we can overcome this situation quickly.
How long have you been under inside?
I haven't really been out since the lockdown I have been at home for more than two months. Sometimes I only went out to the market. I went out and saw many people on the streets.
Many do not even have mask on their face. Also, there were many people wearing masks but have left them on their chin due to heat. So I would request everyone if you are not aware we will not be able to return to normal life easily.
Shooting has started according to health rules. Still, how safe do you think it is to shoot in this situation?
The state of our drama industry was slowly getting better. In the meanwhile coronavirus came. We have already shown a lot of good content to the viewers.
Now if you are shooting in corona, you must shoot indoors. In this way, the stories of the drama will also become about home quarantine. In this situation I am thinking about the quality of drama because we showed the audience a lot of good work.
I am also concerned about whether everyone in a production is equally health conscious. I also want to return to work. But in this situation there is still fear.
How are you spending your time?
I’m actually staying connected to the online audience. I also have a YouTube channel called Safa Kabir. I am creating regular content for my channel at home. I am also doing housework. That is how my time passes away.
Are you frustrated being at home like this?
I'm actually a very homely girl. We have to stay out more because of work. Having the opportunity to stay at home in this situation is quite good. And if there is no maid in the house, there are a hundred types of work that needs to be done.
I'm doing those. I really miss my work I have not been able to do any work for a long time. That's why I feel bad.
Many of your dramas have been aired this Eid -
This time, 12 of my dramas have been aired. I did some of these for the occasion of Eid. And all the dramas were done earlier but the date of publishing or airing was not fixed. Those dramas have also been aired this Eid. That's why I like it very much.
What do you want to do first when the coronavirus period is over?
At the end of the coronavirus period I want to return to my village home. Those who are in the village can get out even if it is a little. There is no place to go in the city except the roof of our house.
