Prachyanat is organizing month-long programme ‘Mahala Magan’ at own rehearsal centre in Kataban.
This time they are going to stage the play ‘Hundred by Hundred’ directed by Saiful Jarnal. There will be two staging of the play on Friday and Saturday at 7:15 pm. In each show, 20 people will get the opportunity to watch dramas.
The story revolves around Saju who works in a garment factory. When the whole country is shut down for fear of an unknown virus, the city becomes a village. Unemployed Saju also goes back to his hometown. But the panic did not subside. Everyone stopped for fear of an unknown enemy, no one knew how to fight the enemy floating in the air and thus continues the story.
The director said, “We want to tell a simple story. We want to show how ordinary person becomes helpless to many powerful people, we want to understand why humanity acts in a crisis. Do we really drive ourselves or are we driven? Or be forced to continue!”
The play stars Tanjikun, Faisal Kabir Saadi, Ariful Islam Rubel, Faisal Ibne Mazin and others.
At the end of the play, in the 2nd episode, there will be a discussion on mental health conducted by Professor Dr. Salauddin Kausar Biplob and Dr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed.
