Today is celebrated litterateur and director Humayun Ahmed’s birthday November 13. On this occasion, like every year, channel-i has organised ‘Humayun Mela’. The fair will be inaugurated at 11am in the morning. Humayun Ahmed’s family members, media celebrities, poets, writers and directors of Channel-i will be present at the inauguration. Humayun Ahmed’s book, movie, drama’s DVD will be present at stalls in the fair. Prominent people will come to the fair to reminisce him. The fair will be live telecast until 2 pm on Channel-i and Radio Bhumi.
In addition, on the occasion of Humayun Ahmed’s birthday this afternoon, Channel-i will air the last film by Humayun Ahmed, ‘Gheetputra Kamala’. The film has been produced by Impress Telefilm and starred Jayanto Chattopadhyay, Pran Rai, Moonmoon Ahmed, vocalist Agun, Abdullah Rana, Fazlur Rahman Babu, child artiste Mamun.
Alongside all this, at 8 pm Channel-i will air, ‘Grihoshukh Private Limited’. Zahid Hasan acted in this play along with Dr Ejazul Islam, Joy, Mozammel Hossain, Dilara Zaman, Saleh Ahmed, Shabnam Parvin, Faruk Ahmed, Shamima Nazneen, Moonmoon, Asaduzzaman Noor and others.
