Locals and college students on Tuesday formed a human chain demanding to arrest the fugitive accused and to ensure supreme punishment for the killers involved with the murder of Sakib Al Hasan, one college student on March 17.
On Tuesday morning, hundreds of locals, deceased family members and Students of Mirpur Mofid-E-Am School & College formed the human chain before the college gate at Aminbazar area in Savar, on capital’s outskirts.
Md. Rakib Mia, elder brother of the deceased alleged, police although arrested two involved with the murder, but the other accused including Nabin still on the run. Even, one of the arrestees named Piyash already make a statement under section 164 to the court which revealed that Nabin planned the murder and stubbed my brother first.
Students from the human chain said, police have yet to made arrest all the accused involved with this murder despite passing almost 2 months. They demanded to immediate arrest of all the accused who still on the run and ensure supreme punishment for all involved as soon as possible.
Contacted Mokhlesur Rahman, SI and the investigation officer of the case said they working on the issue and trying their best to arrest the accused that is still fugitive. Adding that there is no negligence of police and police already complete 90 percent investigation.
Notably, On March 17, Sakib Al Hasan, 19, a twelve grader college student of Mirpur Mofid-E-Am School & College was stabbed to death by his friends over flimsy issues and killers hide the body in a septic tank in Konda area in Savar.
Police later recovered his decomposed body 9 days later from the septic tank and later arrested Emon and Piyash, friends of the deceased, and later Piyash confessed his crime to the court under section 164.
