Featuring versatile Bangladeshi actor Mosharraf Karim in the central role, the upcoming film 'Hubba,' directed by Bratya Basu, is set to be released in West Bengal on January 19. Interestingly, Bangladesh will also witness the release of 'Hubba' on the same day.

Having made the announcement earlier about the same day release, Jaaz Multimedia, the film’s importer in Bangladesh, has now informed that the film has obtained clearance for release in Bangladesh.

Jaaz Multimedia announced on their Facebook page, “On January 19, you will be able to watch 'Hubba' in your nearest theatre.”

Abdul Aziz, the frontman of Jaaz Multimedia, mentioned that they have obtained permission for the movie's release in Bangladesh, and there are no further hindrances in showcasing ‘Hubba’ in the country. He expressed hope that the movie will leave a positive impression on the audience in Bangladesh.

Jaaz Multimedia is actively preparing for the movie's release in Bangladesh, including launching a promotional campaign. The trailer was unveiled a few days ago, generating excitement among the audience of both Bengals on social media, particularly for Mosharraf Karim's portrayal of Hubba.

‘Hubba’ is based on the life events of West Bengal's notorious gangster Hubba Shyamal, known as the Dawood Ibrahim of Hooghly. Hubba was involved in various criminal activities, including murder, fighting, and drug smuggling. Despite being accused in numerous cases, he even stood for election at one point.

In addition to Mosharraf Karim, the film features Indraneil Sengupta, Poulomi Basu, Shravani Das, and Soumik Haldar, among others.

The film is produced by Friends Communications.
