The hanging body of a woman named Nilufa Akhtar (21) was recovered in Nabinagar of the district.
The body was recovered from the husband's house in Brahmanhata village of Kaitola North Union of the upazila on Friday afternoon.
She is the daughter of Mojibur Rahman of the same village.
Nabinagar Police Station Inspector (OC Investigation) Sajal Kanti Das said that there was a quarrel between husband and wife for many days.
Because of this, the woman committed suicide by hanging herself. We recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Cause of murder or suicide will be known after the autopsy.
