Hope’s Door distributes relief, Eid gifts

With the slogan “No Fear, Be Aware”, Hope’s Door (a nonprofit social organisation) distributed food items and Eid gifts among 200 poor families who were in dire need of relief during this outbreak of Coronavirus Pandemic in the capital on Tuesday. 

It’s chairman Shamimun Nahar Lipi, through a discussion program at a residential house distributed the relief items and cash aid to these affected families. Leaders of various organizations and media professionals attended the meeting. 

Shamimun Nahae Lipi said, “As a human rights activist I always try to stand beside the poor people of the country. 

Through Hope's Door, this time of coronavirus outbreak, we are providing food and financial assistance to 2,000 poor and needy people”. 

 “Today I am distributing cash, food items and sari, lungi as Eid gifts among 200 families from my funds. I feel blessed to be able to bring smile to the lower and lower-middle-class people of the country in dealing with this disaster”, she added. 

Finally, she urges the rich people of the country, including the expatriates, will extend a helping hand to the marginalized people.
