Himalaya is releasing a recreation of the Defender that appeared in the 2015 James Bond film, Spectre. The custom Defender is built using new body panels and frames that have been sourced from England while the stock Buick/Rover 3.9L V8 is removed and replaced with a GM LS3 that produces 523 hp. Alternatively, you can choose a Cummins R2.8 turbodiesel or a Whipple-supercharged LS3. The engine is then matched with a 6-speed GM automatic transmission, which also joins an upgraded all-wheel-drive transfer case, strengthened axles, and upgraded Brembo brake system with Wilwood discs.

Other performance upgrades include a four-inch increase in ride height to better accommodate the 37-inch Toyo mud-terrain tires, custom coil springs, Currie Enterprises Johnny Joints, and Fox Racing remote-reservoir shocks. Extensive enhancements have also been made to the bodywork with an all-new frame, handles, latches, and catches that are designed and manufactured in-house, and Dynamat sound-deadening for a quieter cabin.

The interior will feature Ruskin leather and Alcantara as well as Recaro seats, Dakota Digital gauges, a Momo steering wheel, and a JL Audio speaker system with a Kenwood head unit.
