High school teachers help farmers in cutting paddy

Teachers of Kanaidanga High School at Keshabpur upazila in Jashore have cooperated in cutting paddy at the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as there is a crisis of agro workers due to coronavirus. 

Pagol Chandra Das of Sarutia village in Keshabpur upazila said he was very worried about the ripe paddy in the field due to labour crisis and rain-soaked winds in the lockdown. 

Being aware of the matter, Headmaster of Kanaidanga High School and Sufalakati UP Chairman Abdus Samad Master, Assistant Headmaster Abdus Sabur, Assistant Teachers Narayan Biswas, Dinbandhu Biswas, Nitai Biswas, Ali Akbar, Subhash Roy, Nurul Islam, Abdul Gani, Bidyut Mandal, Maqbool Mahfuz , Alauddin Gazi, Biswajit Nath, Chittaranjan Mandal helped him by cutting the paddy in his field on Sunday. 

Meanwhile, Malay Kumar Bramma, headmaster of Katakhali High School and Shital Chandra Raha, assistant headmaster of Palli Unnayan Secondary Girls School also took part in the harvesting. In this regard, Abdus Samad Master said, "We are cooperating with the farmers by cutting paddy at the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina."  

At the time, he also prayed to Allah Almighty for the liberation of the world including Bangladesh from corona virus and expressed his firm conviction to be by the side of the people in any crisis of the country.
