Police of Premtali police Investigation centre of Godagari arrested three drug peddlers with 1.10 kilogramme of Heroin worth about Taka 1.10 crore (one crore ten lakh) from Gopalpur area on Wednesday night.
Arrested drug peddlers were identified as Jamila Khatun(30), Selenur (35) and Babu Ali(20).
Iftekhayer Alam, Spokesperson of Rajshahi district police informed acting on a tip-off, a police team of Premtali Police Investigation Centre conducted an operation at Gopalpur area and recovered 1.10 kilogramme of Heroin kept inside a battery-operated rickshaw from beside Rajshahi-Chapainwabganj high way on Wednesday night and arrested three persons. The estimated price of the recovered Heroin is Taka 11 million ( one crore ten lakh).
A case has been filed accusing three arrested drug peddlers in this connection.
