Content Creator AshrafulAlam, popularly known as Hero Alam, on Monday filed a defamation case against BNP senior joint secretary general RuhulKabir Rizvi, demanding Taka 50 crore for his alleged offensive statements.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saiful Islam accepted the statement of the plaintiff and ordered the Metropolitan Detective Police to submit a report after investigating the allegations.
According to the complaint, on July 18, RuhulKabir Rizvi made a derogatory remark regarding the educational qualification of the plaintiff, while speaking at a program held at Bhuban Mohan Shaheed Minar Park in Rajshahi city.
