The ‘Hepatitis-B vaccination campaign-2025’ began at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) on Thursday.
CVASU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Lutfur Rahman inaugurated the vaccination campaign. Among others, Director (Student Welfare) Professor Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam, Proctor Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman and Senior Medical Officer Dr. Mohammad Riyad were present.
The campaign will be conducted as a joint initiative of the university’s Director (Student Welfare) Office, CVASU Medical Center and Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited.
During the campaign, CVASU students will get the benefit of low-cost Hepatitis-B screening tests. In addition, students will be provided with Hepatitis-B vaccination at low cost.
The first dose of Hepatitis-B is being administered today. The second dose will be administered on August 3, the third dose on September 3, and the booster dose on July 3, 2026.
The vaccination will be administered at the CVASU Medical Center from 10 am to 5 pm on the scheduled dates.
