Hemanta Utsab was held at Milestone College to introduce students to our seasons, nature and culture. On 15
November 2022, This colorful Hemanta Utsab was organized by Kaler Kantho Shuvasangh, Milestone College
Branch. Popular fiction writer and Journalist Imdadul Haq Milan was present as the chief guest at the Hemanta
Utsab. Principal of Milestone College Professor Md. Shahidul Islam, Vice-Principal and Incharge of Milestone
College Diabari Campus Mohammad Ziaul Alam and Administrative Director Md. Masud Alam were present as
honourable guest at the Hemanta Utsab. Vice-Principal of Milestone College Mizanur Rahman Khan gave a
Welcoming speech for all And Director of Shuvasangh Zakaria Zaman gave a speech on behalf of Shuvasangh.
In the speech of the chief guest, Popular fiction writer and Journalist Imdadul Haq Milan said that despite the
increase in the education rate in the country, the reading habits of the students have decreased. He said that every
family should have a bookcase and a library in schools to develop the reading habits of students. Imdadul Haq
Milan also said that students have an important contribution in the history of our struggle and freedom which will
continue in the future for the overall welfare of the country and nation.
