Initiatives have been taken to set up help desks in 64 technical training centers (TTC) and six institutes of marine technology (IMT) under the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) on the direction of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad.
Muhammad Rasheduzzaman, Assistant Private Secretary to the Minister, confirmed the matter through a press release on Sunday.
According to the ministry, the help desk will provide necessary information services to the expatriates returning from abroad, those who want to go abroad and those going abroad.
The contact addresses and phone numbers of the technical training centers and institutes of marine technology can be found on their respective websites and on the website of the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) (www.bmet.gov.bd).
