The possibility of storms and heavy rainfall has decreased in comparison to the last few days. However, heavy rainfall or thunderstorms are likely in some parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions on Wednesday as per the forecast of the Meteorological Department.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, from Tuesday morning 8 am to Wednesday morning 8 am, there was no rain anywhere in the country except 1 mm in Tentulia of Panchagarh.

On the other hand, there may be a slight pressure in the Bay of Bengal in the next three days, according to the Meteorological Department.

Like the last few days, strong winds are blowing in different areas including Dhaka on Wednesday. The weather is likely to remain cloudy.

“In the next 24 hours from 9am Wednesday to 9am Thursday, there may be temporary gusts of wind including possibilities of heavy rainfall with thunderstorms in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies,” Meteorologist Abul Kalam said.

The meteorologist also said that day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country at this time.

Highlighting the weather conditions for the next three days, the meteorologist said, “There is a possibility of light pressure in the south-east Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas during this time.”

On Wednesday morning, the lowest temperature in the country was 22 degree Celsius at Srimangal in Moulvibazar. The maximum temperature recorded at the time was 36.6 degree Celsius in Rajshahi.
