Amid the corona virus spread all over the country, the Department of Labour has introduced telemedicine prohramme, full-time health care for labourers over mobile phones.
According to a notice published by the Department of Labour, 17 labour welfare centers under the department will provide health care over mobile phones to minimize the health risks of institutional and uninstitutional labourers and their family members.
Among these 17 labour welfare centres two are located in Khalishpur and Rupsa area of Khulna. From any part of the country, the labourers will be able to get health care immediately by calling the labour welfare centres.
