A class-seven female student has reportedly been harassed sexually by the headmaster of her school in Akhaura upazila in Brahmanbaria, reports UNB.
The accused teacher is- Md Ashraful Ala, (Hiron Sir), of Mogda High School.
The school managing committee suspended the teacher after the victim’s mother filed a case against the teacher, according to committee source.
According to the victim family, the girl along with her classmates went to the teacher’s house for coaching class on Thursday.
After the class, when the girl was coming out from coaching, the teacher forcibly harassed her, as the girl was alone that time.
After returning home, the girl informed her family members. Md Rosul Ahmed Nizami, officer-in-charge of Akhaura Police Station, said that the teacher went into hiding after the victim’s mother filed the case. Police are trying to arrest him, he added.
