Amirul Islam who appeared at the SSC examination after the funeral of his father at Nabinagar has received Golden GPA-5.
It is learnt, Amirul Islam appeared at the SSC examination from Science group from Salimganj ARM High School in 2020. His father Khorshed Alam,68, died in the afternoon before the day of starting of the examination when the nameplate of the school removed and fell on him at the time of his watching the seat-plan of his son near the school gate killing him on the spot.
After attending the funeral prayer of his father the next morning, Amirul appeared at the SSC examination.
In an emotion choked voice, Amirul said after watching the brilliant result that his father would be highly glad by watching his result.
Ahammad Ali, Head Master of Salimganj ARM High Schoool informed, nine examinees from his school got GPA-5 in the SSC examinations this year of whom Amirul also got the Golden GPA-5. He termed Amirul a brilliant student and sought blessings for him.
