Abusing the learned Judge in indecent language before litigants in Nilphamari District Court, misbehaving lawyers is now a daily routine. The learned court observed that the learned judges in the lawyers' chambers were abusive and mocking the litigants in vulgar, unusable language.
The High Court has summoned Nilphamari District Bar Association President Momtazul Haque, lawyer Azharul Islam, lawyer Ferdous Alam to explain the allegations of creating chaos in the court, showing thumbs up to the law-court and unprofessional, aggressive and misbehaving with the judge. They have been asked to appear in court on February 14.
A High Court bench of Justice JBM Hasan and Justice Raziq Al Jalil passed the order on Wednesday (January 25).
The High Court has summoned the lawyer leaders of Pirojpur, Khulna, Brahmanbaria who had caused similar incidents earlier.
The High Court said that the language of the lawyers on that day was obscene, regarding the raising of obscene and ugly slogans against Brahmanbaria District Judge Begum Sharmin Nigar. Even less educated people do not use such language.
At that time, the court reminded the power of the high court and told the lawyer leaders that they will convey the message of the high court to the lawyers of the whole country - no exemption will be given if the court is insulted or misbehaving with the judges.
