‘Hawa’ to create record with 26 shows per day at Cineplex!

Director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's much awaited feature film titled ‘Hawa’ is already at the peak of discussion with its trailer, song, poster and campaign strategy.  The film will be released in 24 theaters across the country on July 29. Advance ticket sales have already started from Tuesday July 26 at Star Cineplex in Dhaka.

The newly launched Cineplex in Sylhet has sold out all the tickets for the first three days. Apart from this, there are many advance tickets are being sold and they are also getting huge response from the audience.

It is learnt that the journey of 'Hawa' is starting with a record number of shows from the first day of its release. Star Cineplex, the country's largest multiplex chain, will run a maximum of 26 shows per day across its five branches.

For the first time a film is going to start its journey with so many shows from the first day of its release. Regarding the context Star Cineplex authorities claimed it as a record. The company's senior marketing officer Mejbah Uddin said, “As far as he knows, no movie has been allocated 26 shows from the first day at Cineplex. Basically, so many shows are being offered by feeling the interest and pressure of the audience to buy tickets in advance. Not only that, he also said that the number of shows may increase after the release considering the situation.”

Earlier, this month the film got clearance from censor board and announced the release date. The story and dialogues of the film are written by the director of the film Mezbauer Rahman Sumon. the screenplay is also done by Mezbauer Rahman Sumon along with Sukorn Shahed Dhiman and Zahin Faruk Amin.

It was filmed in the deep sea with a story that revolves around eight sailors and a mysterious Bedeni (snake charmer) trapped in a destination less fishing trawler in the abyss in the middle of the sea. The mystery drama genre, 'Hawa' is basically a fairy tale of this period.

Apart from Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Shariful Islam Razz, Sumon Anowar, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan, Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury, Mahmud Hasan and Bablu Bose, among others have acted in this star-studded film.

The film is shot by Kamrul Hasan Khasru, edited by Sajal Alok, background music pinned by Rashid Sharif Shoaib, and music composed by Emon Chowdhury and the poster was designed by Sabyasachi Mistry.  According to the film's production company Face Card Productions and Sun Music & Motion Pictures Limited.
