‘Hawa’ set to be screened on television on Eid festival

Excitement is increasing as the critically acclaimed Bangladeshi film "Hawa" gears up for its television premiere this Eid-ul-Fitr. Directed by the talented Mejbaur Rahman Suman, the movie is poised to enchant audiences once again with its gripping storyline and stellar performances.

Scheduled to air on Maasranga Television for three consecutive days during the festive season, "Hawa" promises an unforgettable viewing experience for audiences across the nation. The television premiere will kick off at 6:30 pm on the day of Eid, followed by screenings on the third and fifth days of Eid.

"Shada Shada Kala," the electrifying track from the film, set the stage on fire even before the movie's release in 2022, igniting anticipation among eager fans. Upon its theatrical debut on July 29, 2022, "Hawa" drew crowds to cinemas, marking a phenomenal success in the realm of Bangladeshi cinema.

Beyond national borders, "Hawa" received international acclaim, gracing screens in the United States, Canada, Australia, India, and other countries. Its universal appeal garnered attention worldwide, solidifying its status as a cinematic gem.

For those unable to catch the television premiere, "Hawa" is available for streaming on the foreign OTT platform Sony LIV, with dubbing provided in five languages. Additionally, domestic viewers can enjoy the film on iScreen, further expanding its reach and influence.

Ajay Kundu, the Executive Producer of "Hawa," expressed the significance of television as a prime medium for showcasing films, emphasizing the strategic decision to broadcast the movie to a wider audience. To commemorate the television premiere, Sun Music and Motion Pictures, the production company behind "Hawa," will organize a special screening event. The event will feature appearances by the film's director and crew members, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
