A total of140 corona patients out of 464 sample tests were found infected till Thursday night In Chattogram. On the other hand, three people with one doctor died. The tests were conducted at Fauzdarhat BITID, Chittagong Medical College and Chittagong Veterinary Lab.
Meanwhile, in the emergency department of Chittagong Medical College, Dr. Mohidul Hasan died of corona on Thursday. Two corona positive women died at the General Hospital. Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi gave this information on Thursday night.
Chattogram corona affected upazilas: Chandnaish 22, Hathazari 21, Patia 11, Sandwip 7, Boalkhali 6, Sitakunda 3, Satkania 1, Anwara 1.
Chittagong BITID Lab tested samples of 192 persons of whom 33 people were identified as positive. They are 16 residents of Chittagong city and 17 residents of the upazila.
Chittagong Medical College Lab tested 137 samples and detected 46 people as corona positive. Chittagong Veterinary University Lab tested 135 samples and found 61 positive. Chittagong Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab information was not available on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner (LA) Abu Hassan Siddique and Patenga Circle AC Land Ehsan Murad have been infected with the corona virus. The sample tests of them came positive in the report released on Thursday night.
Abu Hassan Siddique and Ehsan Murad were among 140 corona patients identified in Chattogram on Thursday.
District Administration Staff Officer Masudur Rahman was tested and found positive for the second time.
Executive Magistrate and Staff Officer of district administration Rajib Hossain confirmed that their corona was positive.
They are in isolation at home with the advice of a doctor. On the other hand, late former mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury’s wife and Chittagong City Women's Awami League president Hasina Mohiuddin and family members were free from corona. Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said this on Friday.
Corona was identified in the body of Hasina Mohiuddin. Then in the 4th phase the follow-up report came negative. The follow-up report of Mohiuddin's son Borhanul Hasan Chowdhury Salehin and other domestic workers came negative.
Chittagong district number of corona cases is 3,677 people till Thursday night. 88 people died. 248 people returned home with release from the hospital.
On the other hand, Banshkhali MP Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury and his family 11 members are affected with coron
avirus (Covid-19). MP family affected members are his wife, three daughters, one granddaughter, one daughter's son-in-law, MP's personal assistant AKM Mostafizur Rahman Russell and three housemaids of the house were attacked by corona. They are all in isolation in their home in Chattogram city.
Mostafizur Rahman's personal assistant AKM Mostafizur Rahman Russell said, "16 samples of the family members with MP were collected when he became physically ill on June 1." BITID lab sample test report found corona positive in 16 members of the family.
He further said, ‘According to Chittagong Civil Surgeon’s Instruction, MP and all other family members are under treatment. Everyone including MP is healthy. '
It is learned that Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury has been staying at home since the news of the global corona pandemic. He is also suffering from diabetes.
