Dr Hasan Mahmud said, “I congratulate the people of Cumilla because after a long time, the party mayor of Awami League has won there. We also thank all those who were involved in our election. Everyone who was there said it was a transparent, good, participatory election, which was held in a festive atmosphere, although the Election Commission has been monitoring our party candidates and supporters more than any other candidate during the entire election process."

Dr Hasan Mahmud also congratulated the defeated mayoral candidate in the Cumilla City Corporation election and said, 'He lost by very few votes. It is difficult to accept the loss of such a small number of votes, which is why he said he would go to court. But we hoped that our candidate would win by a margin of more votes.”

Even if you have eyes, you cannot show them to those who are blind. Those who voted, were with the election, the voters there, including the candidate Sakku, all say the election was very good. As a result, what Fakhrul said while sitting in Thakurgaon became unimportant, nothing came of it. '
