Information Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud on Friday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Rozina Aktar, a senior cameraperson of Bangladesh Television (BTV), reports BSS.
In a condolence message, Hasan prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate condolence messages, State Minister for Information Dr Md Murad Hassan and Information Secretary Begum Kamrun Nahar also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Rozina and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Rozina, the first female cameraperson of Bangladesh Television, died at a city hospital early this morning at the age of 42, a BTV source said. She used to cover the BTV’s live programmes on the President and the Prime Minister as a cameraperson, the source added.
