Pairing up together for the fifth time, National Film Award-winning actress Sadika Parvin Popy will be seen sharing the screen with audience-admired actor-director Hasan Jahangir in a tele-drama titled ‘Nayikar Honeymoon’. The tele-drama has been made to be aired on Asian TV during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
With the story written by Apon Hasan, the tele-drama ‘Nayikar Honeymoon’ has been directed by Aditya Johny.
The shooting of the tele-drama has already been completed at a shooting house of Pubail in Dhaka.
About performing in the tele-drama, Popy said, “The story of ‘Nayikar Honeymoon’ revolves around the character played by me. I really liked the story. Hasan Jahangir always works cordially and the entire unit was very helpful. I hope ‘Nayikar Honeymoon’ will be admired by the audiences.”
Sharing his experience of working with the actress, Hasan Jahangir said, “Earlier, I have worked with Popy in four other tele-dramas. In this tele-drama, Popy performed amazingly as usual. As a co-artiste, I am happy working with her. I look forward to the audience’s appreciation for the drama.”
Veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman and actress Shabnam Parvin will be also seen playing prominent roles in the tele-drama.
Except for ‘Nayikar Honeymoon’, Popy will not be seen in any other tele-drama during this Eid-ul-Fitr.
Popy and Hasan will soon be working together in a tele-drama titled ‘Astrodharini’ directed by Mehedi Moien. Written by Rezwan Khan, the tele-drama will be made targeting its broadcast during the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha.
