Haramain chairman gets Gold Card visa of UAE

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman (Nasir) CIP, Chairman & Managing Director of Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies received the prestigious UAE ‘Gold Card’ residency visa from Col. Ali Mohammad Al Hammadi.

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, who established ‘Al Haramain Perfumes’ in 1970, has become the first expatriate of Bangladeshi origin to receive the prestigious ‘Gold Card’ announced last month by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.  The gold card is part of a permanent residency scheme for investors, entrepreneurs, specialised talents, researchers / scientists and outstanding students residing in the UAE, said a press release.

The new permanent residency initiative has identified the first 6,800 qualified expatriates to benefit from this scheme’s unprecedented benefits. The Gold Card was awarded to Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman and all his family members at a ceremony at the GDRFA Headquarters in Dubai, UAE on Sunday. Lt. Abu baker Ahmed Al Ali was present.

Upon receiving the Gold Card, he said “I am greatly humbled, proud and honoured to receive this Gold Card, and I sincerely thank the visionary leaders of the UAE. Now, more than ever, I remain committed to contribute my best to the success of the UAE, and will continue to support the dream and ambitions of the great leaders of this great nation.”
