One more year passes away from the calendar. 2019 has drowned in the sea of oblivion. Today is the first day of the new year 2020. Everyone bears the desire to make accounts of gains and losses and move forward into the new year with renewed hopes. A Mizan writes about the hopes and wishes of artistes regarding the new year.
Hope that everyone’s mother stays well in the new year

2019 was the most mournful year of my life because I lost my mother at the end of this year. Other than that I have lost many others from the music arena. That is why my wish for this new year is that everyone’s mother will remain well and healthy. My new year will begin with me performing at a show in Dhaka on January 2. I have stage shows on January 3,4 and 10, I will remain very busy.
Later on, in January 13 I will perform in Jodhpur of Kolkata. I want only one thing in this new year that is the return of our beloved Andrew Kishore to return to us healthy and well and may god be with him. Let this year not be a year of losses rather a year of gains. Pray for my mother so that she may remain well in heaven.
Meanwhile, in January 17 and later on in January 18 I will be performing at Barisal Cadet College and at a programme of Channel-i respectively. I extend the best of wishes to everyone in the new year.
I want to be well through working with everyone

2019 was a year of great accomplishments for me. I worked in a number of dramas. This gives me the hope to keep on working in the new year. People live on hope. It is the essence of being a human to have hope and that is why it is people can live on. Otherwise, people would have died. That is why I too bear the wishes that the hopes of my fans get fulfilled which were left unfulfilled. Those who are suffering from diseases can get well. And those who have left us, we will not be able to get them back. I pray for them so that they may reach heaven. I want to do some better work in this new year. I want to keep on working. I want to be well through working with everyone. I want to tell one thing to my fans that you can never lose hope. If you have hope then at one point it will get fulfilled. I hope everyone will think good thoughts. I hope that everyone gains a lot along with keeping their hopes up. Best wishes for everyone.
Our cinema will turn around in the new year

Last year went really well in the cinema industry for me because ‘Shapludo’ starring me got really good response from the audience. I received a huge amount of appreciation and love from everyone as an actress. This year two new films where I worked titled ‘Poran’ and ‘Ittefaq’ will get release. I believe that these will be able to catch the heart of the audience because I got the type of story and directions that I want. The audience have a lot of expectation from me which I have not been able to fulfill as of yet. I hope that I will be able to do it in this new year. I am in talks regarding working in some new films. Not only me but many others are also starting new work in the new year which a really good news for the cinema industry. I think that the new year will make the film industry go through a U-turn. I extend my compliments of the new year to every one of my fans. I hope that the new year goes really well for everyone. Please pray for me so that I can work in better films in future and live up to your hopes.

This last year has gone really well for me. I was busy with a lot of stage shows. This new year is also going to begin with stage show performances. I will be performing at Dhaka University tomorrow. The next day I will be at KIB auditorium at Farmgate. But I haven’t scheduled any show on the first day of the new year. After that I will be going to Mymensingh on the fifth. These few days will be very busy for me. Apart from that I gave voice to a number of songs in the previous year. 2019 has gone really well by the grace of the almighty. I hope that all my fans have a safe new year. Other than that I want to invite the parents to bring their children to the Play House at Mirpur. The environment is really well and appropriate for the enrichment of children.
I wish everyone the best of luck for the new year. And in the meantime I've sung in two new films. I am a little more optimistic about the song titled ‘Mallika Maloti’.
