Netrakona Model Police recovered the bodies of a man named Abdul Qayyum (32) and his two-year-old son Ahnab Shakil from Nagra area in Netrokona municipality on Thursday morning.
The deceased Abdul Qayyum was the son of Akkas Sardar of Khamar village in Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram.
He worked in the Department of Drug Administration in Netrokona and lived in a rented house with his wife and children.
Wife of the deceased Salma Akhter said, they ate dinner on Wednesday and fell asleep at around 1 am. Then she woke up at 5 am and saw the hanging bodies of her husband and child in the next room.
