Local hajj guides do not carry a guide identity only in Saudi Arabia only, their real identity is Bangladeshi. The country’s image will emerge on foreign countries only through their behavior, speech and movement. They should be careful not to tarnish the country’s image abroad.
Religious Affairs Minister Md. Faridul Haque Khan said these things to the Hajj guides at the opening ceremony of the official Hajj guide training at the Hajj office in Dhaka’s Ashkona on Saturday.
The Minister said that it is obligatory for every healthy and capable Muslim person to perform Hajj. Hajj has special importance and virtues from the point of view of Islamic Shariah.
Hajj guides must always be vigilant to ensure that every pilgrim can perform Hajj correctly and cleanly.
He also said that this training has been arranged to make them efficient Hajj guides. Be 100 percent focused in every training session. One must acquire complete knowledge about Hajj rules, regulations, rules and procedures. If there is a problem to understand, the instructor should ask again and again. You will be able to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to you only if you receive the training properly.
Faridul Haque Khan said to the trainers, your role is very important in developing skilled Hajj guides. Ensure that no trainee is left behind. Special attention should be given to trainees who are slow learners.
