You may have a proper skin care routine and you still feel you're a victim to acne, then it can be because of your lifestyle. You may not be able to pimple-proof your face completely, but chances are you’re contributing to breakouts in ways you’re not even aware of. Check these common factors and prepare for the blemish-free skin of your dreams.

Your phone

The one thing we touch more than anything is our phone. And, believe us your phone is ten times dirtier than a toilet seat. Touching your phone and placing it on your face can cause breakouts. To avoid this, clean your phone using antibacterial solutions. You can also use earphones to avoid such breakouts.

Your pillow

This is one of the biggest pimple-perpetrators, and you’re rubbing your face against it for hours every night. A buildup of dirt and oils from your skin and hair is depositing back onto your skin, so do yourself a solid and wash that pillowcase twice a week or so.

Your hair products

If you use a lot of hair styling products, then you need to be cautious while using them. Be it a dry shampoo or hairspray, the product can drip onto your skin, which can lead to acne. So, when you are applying any such product, just cover your face and neck.

Your make-up brushes

If you do your make-up daily using make-up brushes, then you need to clean them on a regular basis. Even if you're the only one to use them, it can contain bacteria, dirt and oil. You can wash them on a weekly basis and while you use them in the morning, use a make-up removing wipe to give it a daily cleanse.

Your hands

Do you touch your face a lot? It can be one of the reasons you get acne. From touching keyboards to doorknobs, your hands can carry a lot of bacteria. Try to limit the contact and also wash your hands regularly.
