Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) at a hotel in the Capital on Monday.
As per the agreement, all ballottee and non- ballottee Hajj and Umrah pilgrims can deposit their Hajj and Umrah Registration Fee through 132 Branches and 2 Sub-branches of SJIBL across the country. The Managing Director and CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited M. Shahidul Islam and the President of HAAB M Shahadat Hossain Taslim signed on the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Among others the Secretary General of HAAB Faruque Ahmed Sarder, the Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Nasim Sekander, the manager of foreign exchange branch of the bank Mahmud Hussain, the manager of Motijheel Branch Md. Enamul Haque, the manager of Bijoynagar Branch Nazir Ahammed, the Muraquib of the bank Mawlana Md. Farid Uddin and the high officials of the both organizations were also present with in the MoU signing ceremony.
