The play ‘Gunjan Bibir Pala’ will be staged on 14th November at 7pm at Jatiya Natyashala in Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy by Padatik Nattya Sangsad. Saik Siddiqui has written and directed the play.
Angik and Pala are popular in the Bangladesh contemporary theater scene. The turn is presented through worship, narration, dance, song and acting. The rural heritage of the country is highlighted Padatik Nattya Sangsad’s presentations.
Usually Pala depicts tragic incidents in a person’s life. Just play will depict the ups and downs of a person’s life.
The play stars Mominul Haque Dipu, Syeda Shamshi Ara Saika, Mashiur Rahman, Pushpo, Shubho, Imran, Jitu, Sharif, Joy, Limon, Ikram, Chomok, Shimul, Suman, Joba, Roza, Shobhan, Pranto and Tonmoy. The music is given by Rashed, Zaman, Amol and Fayez. Sanjeeb Kumar Dey did stage planning; Atik Joy did the lighting arrangement while Ikram and Jibon will conduct the play. Syeda Shamshi Ara Saika designed the costumes and props for the play as well as the choreography.
