Today is the 42nd founding anniversary of the Padatik Natya Sangsad. On this occasion, they will stage a special play titled ‘Gunjan Bibir Pala’ at the National Theater Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7pm this evening.
The Padatik Natya Sangsad was established at TSC of Dhaka University on this day. On the occasion of the anniversary Saek Siddiqui has written and directed the play.
Stage-Sanjib Kumar Dey, Light-Atiqul Islam Joy, Clothing, Products & Choreography Saida Shamshi Ara, Music-Humayun Azam Rewaz, Zaman, Amal, Foyez.
Mominul Haque Dipu, Mashiur Rahman, Sayeda Shamsi Ara, Shakhawat Hossain Shimul, Salman Shuvo, Ikram, Chamak, Shariful Islam, Md Imran, Jitu, Jaba, Jibon, Shovon, Pranto, Rosa will play the main roles of the play.
Regarding the play, the director said, “We have tried to do a lot of the play in the traditional ‘pala’ scenes. In the village, these palas are like the recitation of drama. There is a sense of artistic aesthetics.
The story is about a theater team which is going through a variety of problems for a long time.
The head of that group is a drama lover. She is ready to make the highest sacrifice for theatre. A drama will be staged by the team in a manner resembling pala.
