Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) received Insurance Asia Awards 2019 for the third time as recognition to its extraordinary performance for the year 2019.
GLIL was bestowed awards two categories - Domestic Life Insurer of the Year and Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year.
Guardian Life started receiving the awards since 2017 for the most innovative product and then in three categories in 2018 which included Domestic Life Insurer of the Year, Digital Initiative of the Year and Claim Initiative of the Year, said a press release.
“Winning this prestigious accolade for three consecutive years is a significant moment for Guardian Life Insurance Limited. In its 5-year lifetime, Guardian Life came up with innovative micro-insurance and dgital products in the market and is currently providing insurance services to more than 10 million lives across the country,” Managing Director of Guardian Life Insurance Limited, M.M. Monirul Alam said.
“We thank our valued customers, dedicates work force and the prudent board of directors for their continued direction and support that helped us to win and be recognized in a globally renowned platform like Insurance Asia Awards”, he added.
M.M. Monirul Alam received the awards at the gala event of Insurance Asia Awards 2019 held at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore recently. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, member (Law), Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and Syed Akthar Hasan Uddin, director, Guardian Life were present at the event.
Over 54 exceptional insurance companies from 18 countries were recognized at the fourth Insurance Asia Awards. The celebration beat last year’s record after gathering nearly 120 senior executives from the insurance industry across the globe.
