The 47th Annual General Meeting of GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Limited was held on Thursday, on Digital Platform, in pursuance with BSEC Order SEC/SRMIC/04-231/932 dated 24th March, 2020.
The meeting was presided over by the Company’s Chairman Masud Khan while Managing Director Prashant Pandey, Directors Md Abul Hossain, Mohsin Uddin Ahmed, Reazul Haque Chowdhury, Hasnain Ahmed, Zahedur Rahman, Company Secretary Md. Naharul Islam Molla and a number of shareholders attended the meeting using the digital platform.
The shareholders approved the Directors’ Report, Auditor’s Report and Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2019.
The declaration of final cash dividend @ 530% i.e. Tk.53.00 per ordinary share of Tk.10.00 each was also approved at the said AGM. It may be mentioned here that, this is the first AGM held in a Digital Platform in the country.
