GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Limited’s 47th Annual General Meeting was held on digital platform recently. The meeting was presided over by the Company’s Chairman Masud Khan, Company’s Managing Director Prashant Pandey, Directors Md Abul Hossain, Mohsin Uddin Ahmed, Reazul Haque Chowdhury, Hasnain Ahmed, Zahedur Rahman, Company Secretary Md Naharul Islam Molla and a number of shareholders attended the meeting using the digital platform.
The shareholders approved the Directors’ Report, Auditor’s Report and Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2019. The declaration of final cash dividend of Tk 53 per ordinary share of Tk 10 each was also approved at the said AGM. It may be mentioned here that, this is the first AGM held in a Digital Platform in the country.
