GPH Ispat, one of Bangladesh’s leading steel manufacturers, has reaffirmed its commitment to the well-being of industrial workers by contributing to the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund, operated under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
The contribution, made from the company’s Workers’ Profit Participation Fund (WPPF),was formally handed over during an official ceremony held in Dhaka.
In the ceremony, the cheque was presented to Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. M Sakhawat Hussain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, by Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Director; Sharmin Sultan, Chief People Officer (CPO), and H M Ashraf-Uz-Zaman FCA, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), representing GPH Ispat.
