GPH Ispat conducts free medical camp for distressed women

A day-long free medical camp was held on Tuesday for the destitute and helpless women of GPH Ispat Limited at Sitakunda Kumira plant in Chattogram and its surrounding areas.  Hundreds of helpless, poor women of many nearby villages are given free medical care and medicine.

GPH Ispat Additional Managing Director Mohammad Almas Shimul inaugurated this program.  He said, on the occasion of National Mourning Day, GPH has organized a free medical camp for women. In this, two experienced female doctors from Chattogram Medical College's Gynecology and Medicine Department will serve the women of various villages around our plant area.

He said that GPH has always been working in the service of people.  The biggest example of this is the distribution of free oxygen cylinders in the remote areas and upazilas of the country during the Corona period, which has saved many lives.

GPH Ispat Advisor Saika Shefa, Chief Operating Officer  Mohan Babu, Chief Corporate Relations Officer Shobhan Mahbub Shahabuddin Raj, Media Advisor Ovik Osman, Process Advisor Amirul Islam, Logistics and Security Advisor Colonel Mohammad Shawkat Osman (retd), Head of  Plant (Operations) Maduluri Srinivas Rao along with senior officials.
