State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury on Saturday said the government is working in unison with all concerned to tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, reports BSS.
“If all are united, Bangladesh will soon be able to overcome the coronavirus situation. As long as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is in power,
Bangladesh will not lose its way,” he told a relief distribution programme in Dinajpur.
The relief distribution programme was held at ‘Gore Shahid Bara Maidan’ under the auspices of Dinajpur district Awami League Relief Management Committee.
Dinajpur district Awami League general secretary and Zilla Parishad chairman Azizul Imam Chowdhury presided over the programme.
Lawmakers Manoranjan Sheel Gopal and Zakia Tabassum Jui (reserved seat), Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Mahamudul Alam, Awami League’s Relief Management Committee Convener Altafuzzaman Mita and Member Secretary Faroquzzaman Chowdhury Michael were present, among others, on the occasion.
