The present democratic government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to develop the lifestyle of the under privileged in the society. Md. Asraf Ali Khan Khasru, State minister for Livstock and Fisheries, said this as the chief guest at a discussion meeting marking the National Social Service Day-2020 in Netrokona on Thursday.
The day was celebrated at the initiative of Netrakona District Social Welfare Department and Netrakona District Administration upholding the slogan “Shonar Banglaei Mujib Borshe, shomaj kollyan agiye chole” M Moyeenul Isam, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Netrakona presided over the event while Habiba Rahman Khan Safali Mp for the reserved women seat attended as the special guest.
Akbar Ali Munshi, Superintendent of Police (SP), addressed the discussion. Among others, Assistant Director of Social Service Department, Netrakona Md Alauddin, Sadar Upazila Social Service Officer Abdulla Al Mamun spoke at the time.
The State Minister said the government has already declared zero tolerance against corruption and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working hard to make the vision-21 a success. He urged all, especially the social service officials to work together sincerely to build a developed country with the spirit of Liberation War. Earlier a colorful rally was brought out that paraded the main roads of the town.
